Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with financial record-keeping, preparing reports, and supporting the overall accounting functions of the company. This role provides an excellent opportunity for career growth in accounting and finance.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

Knowledge

Accounting tasks, including AP, AR, PR and bank reconciliations
Journal entry and maintaining financial records; financial statements and reports
Month end, Year end closing procedures
General ledger, payroll, audits, tax preparation
Basic Accounting principles

Experience

0-2 years of experience
Experience in job cost accounting and project-based work on environment, knowledge of SOX compliance and audit preparation, familiarity with tax preparation and reporting

Special

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Accounting software
Excellent familiarity with Excel
Experience with ERP systems is preferred
CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
